Reflections Along a River of Time

For nearly fifty years, Robb Moss has documented the lives of a group of friends who once set out on a river trip in their youth. Now, decades later, they return to that river and to themselves, older, changed, and reflective. Through intimate interviews and archival footage, the film traces how the currents of time have shaped their dreams, relationships, and sense of identity.

The river that once symbolized youthful exuberance and freedom now flows lower, scarred by climate change — a metaphor for the passage of life. As the five friends — Jim, Danny, Cathy, Jeff and Barry — confront aging, loss, unfinished projects and enduring bonds, the documentary becomes a measured, poignant meditation on memory, friendship and the un-finished business of living.
